TECHART PRO Leica M to Sony E Autofocus Adapter TECHART PRO adapter is the worlds first autofocus adapter for your manual focus camera lenses. It is able to turn your manual lens into an autofocus lens and use it under the Sony A7 cameras. Not only does it immediately give lives to all the manual lenses, it also changes the experience we had with these lenses. You can now use your favourite Leica lenses for taking snap shots, motion pictures or candid photos. Techart PRO adapter is basically a lens adapter with a motor and a printed circuit board, allowing the camera to measure the focus and communicate with the motor. And the motor will move the lens closer or further away from the camera sensor to reach the focal point. The principle is similar to the Contax AX camera that the flange distance is adjusted to reach the focus. The maximum z-shift is 4.5mm which is sufficient to cover the focusing distance for most of the lenses. And the optical performance will NOT be affected for unit focusing lenses. We have carefully selected a motor which can drive the lens as fast as a native AF lens and stop instantly when the camera instruct it to stop. The focusing takes less than a second and the picture we had is really sharp with precise focus. SUPPORT AF-S & AF-C AUTO FOCUSING SUPPORT AF-S / AF-C MODE Techart PRO adapter does not only support AF-S, but more importantly, it supports the AF-C, the continous autofocusing mode. This is extremely useful for shooting moving objects like sports players, children or animals. In the past, you may not be able to keep these photos sharp with your favourite Leica M lenses, but now you can certainly do it with the Techart PRO adapter. GIVES EXTRA MACRO POWER TO YOUR LENS IMPROVE CLOSE FOCUSING ABILITY Techart PRO can improve the close focusing ability of your lens. It serves the same function as the helicoid or close-focus adapter in the market where the minimal focus distance of the lens will be shorten. This overcomes a limitation of most Leica M lenses which does not allow to shoot really close. You can start taking macro-like photos with Techart PRO. ADAPTING DIFFERENT MOUNTS LENSES FOR AUTOFOCUS HIGH COMPATIBILITY Techart PRO adapter is also highly compatible. It can accept lenses with Leica M bayonet mount and connect them with Sony A7II and Sony A7RII.
